Asus has listed down the Zenfone 2 Deluxe Special Edition on its official website, which packs an upgraded Intel Atom Z3590 processor and 128GB of internal storage. Capable of swapping back covers in Drift Silver and Carbon Night color variants, the company has not yet revealed the pricing and exact release date of the smartphone.

Loaded with a full version of Gameloft’s Asphalt 8 with additional free 24,000 coins, the Drift Silver cover features a multi-faceted tactile finish and is made up of over 500 polygons hand-tessellated to provide superior grip.

On the other hand, the Carbon Night weave-patterned rear cover is specially designed using featherweight materials on the lines of the future’s fastest racing cars.

Equipped with a 5.5-inch Full HD (1080×1920) IPS display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3, the upcoming Asus Zenfone 2 Deluxe Special Edition features 2.3GHz 64-bit Intel Atom processor Z3590, 4GB LPDDR3 RAM and has the capability to offer a wide 179-degree viewing angle. Moreover, with a narrow 3.3mm bezel, the phone comes with a 72% screen-to-body ratio.

On the storage front, the Asus Zenfone 2 Deluxe Special Edition features a 128GB eMMC flash with 5GB free ASUS Cloud WebStorage. However, there are reports that a separate 128GB SD card will also be included in the package.

Accompanied by a 13MP PixelMaster camera on the rear with a f/2.0 wide-aperture lens, Asus Zenfone 2 Deluxe Special Edition includes a ‘real tone’ flash for warm skin tones and accurate color. Delivering a wide 85-degree field of view, the handset comes with a 5MP front-facing snapper.
Powered by a 3,000mAh non-removable Li-Polymer battery, the dual-Micro SIM Asus Zenfone 2 Deluxe Special Edition runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with a new refreshed version of Asus ZenUI. As per the company sources, users will be able to completely customize the interface as per their requirements.

On the connectivity front, the Zenfone 2 Deluxe Special Edition offers 4G LTE with data speeds up to 150MB/s in addition to 802.11ac Wi-Fi high-speed Wi-Fi.

Asus also revealed that the Zenfone 2 Deluxe Special Edition will be an ideal for users who would like to experience premium features with a customizable interface. Moreover, the enhanced design and performance upgrades add more creative touch to the smartphone.
